Hi, I’m Katherine Kennedy.

I created this beautiful retreat because I know how powerful it is to step away from the day-to-day, reconnect with yourself, and share your story in the company of honest, inspiring women.

Set on the shores of Stinson Beach, this two-day retreat is a chance to pause, reflect, and go inward. Each time we gather, I invite expert somatic healers to join us—bringing their unique gifts to support our journey into yourself.

Whether you're seeking clarity, navigating a transition, or simply longing to feel more grounded—I’d love to welcome you.

We’ll reflect. We’ll share. We’ll laugh (a lot), and maybe cry a little, too. We’ll walk on the beach, enjoy nourishing food, and sit in circle to share our deepest stories. Through powerful storytelling practices, mindful movement, and heartfelt connection, you’ll find time to be still—and be given the space to be truly seen.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. (You don’t need to consider yourself a writer or aspiring writer to join—some do, several don’t.) Just come as you are, with a willingness to listen deeply and speak from the heart.

Day One:
We’ll dive in with a story circle, ground through meditation, journaling, and sharing. We walk the beach, and (if you’re up for it) take a cold plunge.

Day Two:
Nikki will lead us in a group yoga session. We’ll continue our story work throughout the day. Over lunch, Nikki will lead us in a group discussion on menopause. We’ll close with a deep sense of clarity and connection to carry forward.

About Katherine

I’m Katherine Kennedy—a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, storytelling coach, facilitator, and author of Speaking to What Matters: My Story of Learning How to Share What’s Inside.

For nearly 30 years, I’ve been creating spaces where people feel safe to be honest, seen, and heard. Through retreats, story circles, and coaching, I help people uncover the stories that bring deeper understanding, healing, and connection—to themselves and to others.


ABOUT NIKKI

I’ve spent more than thirty years helping people feel more at home in their bodies and more connected to their well-being. My background weaves together integrative health, natural foods, workplace wellness, and nearly 25 years of teaching yoga in all kinds of settings—from corporate offices to community workshops.

I care most about creating supportive, real-life spaces where people can breathe, move, and reconnect. Along the way I helped launch Dine11 San Francisco during the pandemic, and more recently co-founded the Menopausitive Workshop to support women in midlife with education, resources, and community.

I’m a mover, a dancer, a budding gardener, and someone who finds joy in nourishing food, animals, and meaningful connection. I live in San Francisco with my husband, our dog Juniper, and I have two young-adult kids who keep life full and fun.
