You’re warmly invited to an intimate, in-person retreat by the ocean. A day to slow down, reflect, write, and reconnect with yourself and a circle of thoughtful, supportive women.

I’m thrilled to be joined by Geno La Placa, who will lead us in powerful & grounding somatic practices to help us tune into our body and the wisdom it holds.

Through guided prompts, spacious writing time, embodied meditation, and shared storytelling, we’ll explore what’s stirring beneath the surface and give voice to the story that’s ready to be told.

Whether you’re working on something specific or simply craving time to connect more deeply yourself and others, this retreat offers a gentle invitation to listen in—and show up more fully.

You needn’t consider yourself a writer to join, although you are certainly welcome if you do.

Location: Stinson Beach, California
Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm

A nourishing lunch will be provided. We will provide journals but please bring your own if you’d like. You’ll want to dress comfortably, for time spent both writing and outdoors!

I’m Katherine Kennedy—a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, storytelling coach, facilitator, and author of Speaking to What Matters: My Story of Learning How to Share What’s Inside.

For nearly 30 years, I’ve been creating spaces where people feel safe to be honest, seen, and heard. Through retreats, story circles, and coaching, I help people uncover the stories that bring deeper understanding, healing, and connection—to themselves and to others.

ABOUT GENO

Genoveva “Geno” La Placa is an Executive and Life Coach who helps women live and lead with emotional depth, presence, and intuitive intelligence. A former hedge fund CFO and mother of three, she specializes in empowered parenting, emotional leadership, and healing mother-daughter dynamics. Her work blends science, soul, and strategy to foster relationships rooted in truth and connection.

Geno and I met at Shirin Aryanpour’s Illuminate Her book event. Geno generously hosted another circle for me and we’ve found a synergy in serving others. We both believe in doing the inner work needed so that we can show up more authentically for others—admittedly, we’re still working on it!
