You’re warmly invited to an intimate, in-person retreat by the ocean. A day to slow down, reflect, write, and reconnect with yourself and a circle of thoughtful, supportive women.
Through guided prompts, spacious writing time, embodied meditation, and shared storytelling, we’ll explore what’s stirring beneath the surface and give voice to the story that’s ready to be told.
Whether you’re working on something specific or simply craving time to connect more deeply yourself and others, this retreat offers a gentle invitation to listen in—and show up more fully.
You needn’t consider yourself a writer to join, although you are certainly welcome if you do.
“Katherine held space for all of us to let our vulnerabilities out and share the deepest parts of ourselves—with laughter and joy. I would not hesitate one more moment to sign up.“ - Katy B.

“Speaking to What Matters helped me uncover parts of my story I didn’t even realize I had been holding back. The experience was transformative. Katherine created a safe, loving, judgment-free space where I felt completely seen, supported, and encouraged. The community she fostered wrapped around me with compassion and inspiration, and I left feeling more connected, confident, and honest with myself than I’ve felt in a long time. ”
